So...I have to make a difficult decision very soon. I think I may have made it...but I'm not sure I have the guts to go through with it. Life is hard when you have to choose between good and good. I wish things were black and white at times. And I'm afraid...afraid that my decision may hurt a very dear friend of mine. sigh...

NICKELCREEK!

So, I went to one of the last shows ever for Nickelcreek last weekend. It was absolutely wonderful. Way better than I expected it to be...and I had expected it to be good:)

The whole night was great. I took a date. We went to dinner and then to the show. It was up in Salt Lake at Abranell Hall. The hall is a beautiful place. I have a couple pictures of it inside. One of me and Matt in front of a Chihuly glass sculpture. And then I have about 256 mb of saved video of the pieces of different songs they performed that night on my camera. I am sooo sad that they are dis-banding. They seem like terrific people and there music is so much fun and uplifting. Maybe I'll have to figure out how to put movie clips here on this blog so that you can watch a few.

Anyhow, time always feels like it's short, and I promised my brother I would take him shopping for new clothes for his new very cool, very important job, so as always, I will have to write more later. Life is offering so much excitement lately that I don't really know where to start. Have a wonderful weekend, my friends.

Arghh...our internet has been down for nearly a week. That was quite depressing. I called our apt. manager but nothing happened...then after repeated calls to MStar...finally, finally, someone came out and fixed the broken switch. Hmm.

Well, this is the first time I've been online since Monday morning, and I fee like my attempts to update often have been thwarted. Right now I only have a moment or so before my date shows up. I'm going to a baseball game tonight. Night two of a three day series against Utah State. GO BYU! I can't wait. I really do love baseball. I don't know why so many people find it so uninteresting. I think it's comfortable and delightful. And I can't wait to kick Utah's butt. No red tonight...we're all BLUE through and through.

At the moment, however, I am working on my final show.
If I can find a gallery to exhibit my stuff in then I should be having my show the end of July. Graduation is in mid August so it will be before then at least. I'll keep you all updated on that...as it is pretty much the most important aspect of my life right now:)


My ideas for my show pieces are still a bit of a mystery
but when I'm a little farther along I will post some of the pieces on here.

Oh my...look who's back.

To my friends,

So, there are three things that I told myself I didn't want to do...cause everyone else was doing them.
1) Join Google
2) Join Facebook
3) Get a Cell phone

And here's where I stand now:
1) Had to join Google to access my blog since blogspot was bought out
2) On edge about this one - I don't want to be on Facebook but all my friends are and I want to see their pictures
3) And if only I had the money

So...all my stubbornness against the ways of the world is slowly slipping away. Soon, I will be just like everyone else...
maybe.

Anyhow, for the moment, by succumbing to Google's dominion I now have access to my blog once again and can re-enter the world of blogging.
I missed you all. I will write more soon. And I promise pictures.
